Австралийский корреспондент и владелец информационного интернет ресурса WikiLeaks Джулиан Ассанж поведал, что компания Google выступает близким союзником Хиллари Клинтон в ее предвыборной гонке на пост президента США. Об этом он объявил в процессе выступления на медиафоруме «Новая эпоха журналистики: прощание с мейнстримом» в столице РФ, пишет belrynokby.ru

Ассанж подчеркнул, что годом ранее у Google был договор с администрацией действующего президента Барака Обамы. Эрик Шмидт, в прошлом руководитель Google, занимается этим лично. Ассанж напомнил, что «Шмидт также одновременно является сопредседателем инновационного комитета Пентагона». Корреспондент заявляет, что сотрудничество Google и Госдепартамента является взаимовыгодным. «Это взаимная интеграция на различных уровнях», — сообщил основатель Wikileaks.

В Швеции летом 2010 года в отношении Ассанжа начались следственные действия по заявлению 2-х женщин о половых притязаниях. Невзирая на то, что он уже несколько лет проживает на территории посольства Эквадора в столице Англии, в связи с преследованием шведской власти, его выступление стало все-таки возможно в формате телемоста. Всеобщие выборы в США пройдут 8 ноября. Миллиардер Дональд Трамп, представляющий республиканцев, и Клинтон фактически гарантировали себе победу на них.
