Levi Strauss & Co. и Google Inc. намерены выпустить джинсы, куртки и рубашки со встроенными внутрь девайсами.

Не то чтобы кто-то собирался спрятать устройства внутрь одежды, нет, просто по заказу Google некая японская (ну а какая еще?) компания изготовила проводящие волокна, которые могут быть вплетены практически в любую ткань,пишет buro247.ru

Собственно, как мы поняли, за процесс вплетения и отвечает Levi's, чей вице-президент по инновациям Пол Диллинджер сказал, что параметры новой пряжи (толщина, необходимое количество) не требуют никаких изменений в работе ткацких станков.

«По сути, это расширение возможностей одежды в качестве платформы, а не только в качестве устройства», — добавил Диллинджер, имея в виду, что со дня объявления о проекте разработчики приложений уже могут начать думать, как лучше применить возможности «умных» тканей.

Переговоры о данной коллаборации начались год назад, вчера же на конференции в Сан-Франциско компания Google озвучила совместные с Levi's планы, а рассчитывать на готовый продукт мы можем не раньше осени 2016 года. Так что скоро будем не только стирать и гладить рубашки, но еще и заряжать, и устанавливать на них приложения.
