Петиція підписана, серед інших, акторами і музикантами Джуліанною Мур, Джейн Фондою, Кетлін Тернер, Семюелем Л. Джексоном, Мег Райан, Мобі, Расселом Сіммонсом, Майклом Стайпом і Лєною Данем.

Знаменитості наголосили, що "відчувають свою відповідальність" за те, щоб "привернути увагу до небезпек президентства Трампа і до реальних та існуючих загроз, пов'язаних з висуванням його кандидатури". Автори висловлюють думку, що Дональд Трамп "хоче повернути країну в ті часи, коли страх служив виправданням для насильства, жадібність живила дискримінацію, а держава вписула в закони забобони проти громад, перетворених на маргінальні".

На думку підписантів, американським виборцям слід "скористатися силою нашого голосу і міццю нашого вотуму, щоб завдати поразки Дональду Трампу й ідеології ненависті, яку він представляє".
