Французький телеканал Canal+ втретє покаже антиукраїнський фільм «Україна, маски революції», автор якого режисер Поль Морейра, на думку його колег, зовсім не знає Україну, хоча і взявся знімати.

Про це в інтерв’ю Укрінформу розповів відомий французький режисер, автор кількох десятків документальних фільмів Бертран Норман.

«З перших кадрів стає зрозуміло, що автор не знав країну, про яку вирішив знімати фільм, але знав, про що саме розповідатиме у фільмі. Ця документальна стрічка є однобокою. Певно, він використав лише ту інформацію, яка йому була потрібна для цього. Решту думок він просто ігнорував», - зазначив Норман.

Режисер шкодує, що Морейра ірраціонально провів час в Україні. «Мені шкода, що Морейра не використав час, проведений в Україні, аби краще з нею ознайомитися. Я вважаю, що у вашій країні відбуваються дуже цікаві події, позитивні зміни, і потрібно бути сліпим у сенсі людських цінностей, щоби цього не бачити», - сказав він.

Також Норман вважає, що фільмом Морейри Canal+, можливо, хотів шокувати телеглядача. «На жаль, це не єдиний випадок на французькому телебаченні. Подібні документальні фільми або репортажі з'являються на наших телеканалах, вони є примітивними за своєю методикою, не говорячи вже про зміст», - підкреслив французький режисер. На його думку, автори, які хочуть щось довести, ігнорують те, що їх не влаштовує.

З лютого сайт Teleobs опублікував звернення 18 іноземних журналістів, які працюють в Україні, до французького телеканалу Canal+ з приводу трансляції фільму Поля Морейри «Україна: маски революції», в якому висловили своє невдоволення перекручуванням у стрічці подій 2013-2014 років в Україні.
