Фракцию партии "Народный фронт" в Верховной Раде 8-го созыва будет возглавлять спикер парламента 7-го созыва Александр Турчинов.

"Фракцию возглавит Александр Турчинов", – сообщил агентству "Интерфакс-Украина" член партии "Народный фронт" Вячеслав Кириленко

Отвечая на вопрос, чью кандидатуру Народный фронт" готов поддержать на должность спикера Верховной Рады, депутат отметил: "Все вопросы будут окончательно решены после подписания коалиционного соглашения".

По словам В.Кириленко, рабочая группа по подготовке первого заседания новоизбранной Верховной Рады продолжает работу. Члены подготовительной группы среди прочих рассматривают вопрос руководства парламентскими комитетами.

А.Турчинов – №3 в партийном списке "Народного фронта". Избран председателем Верховной Рады 7-го созыва в феврале 2014 года, при этом с 23 февраля по 7 июня исполнял обязанности президента Украины. В 2007-2010 гг. был первым вице-премьер-министром Украины в правительстве Юлии Тимошенко, а в 2005 году 8 месяцев возглавлялСБУ. Был народным депутатом всех созывов украинского парламента, начиная с 3-го.
