Голова Служби безпеки України Василь Грицак повідомив, що Facebook на прохання СБУ заблокував сторінку російського блогера провокатора Сергія Жука.

Про це голова СБУ сказав на брифінгу, повідомляє кореспондент Укрінформу.

"Жук використовував Facebook, щоб адмініструвати сайт "Українська революція". Після нашого офіційного звернення до керівництва Facebook його (Жука - ред.) сторінка була заблокована. Facebook із розумінням поставився, і я, користуючись нагодою, хочу подякувати цій компанії, яка закрила цей ресурс. Там насправді було більше 80 тисяч підписувачів", - сказав Грицак.

За його словами, ресурси Жука залишаються в "ВКонтакте" та в "Одноклассниках". Грицак висловив сподівання, що ці компанії дослухаються до звернень СБУ і закриють сторінки Жука, який адміністрував у інтернеті сторінки таких ресурсів, як "Українська революція", "Майдан-3" і "Патріот України".

Як повідомлялось, Жук брав участь у терористичній організації "ДНР" під позивним "Москва". Через соціальні мережі з використанням цих профілів здійснюється інформаційно-психологічний вплив на українських користувачів. Позиціонуючи себе як "патріота України", Жук тривалий час, користуючись довірою наших громадян, намагався спровокувати заворушення у Києві.
