Соціальна мережа Facebook запустила окремий сайт Messenger.com. Раніше діяв лише мобільний додаток Messenger.

Таким чином Facebook готує своїх користувачів до виходу Messenger Business. Ця функція забезпечить можливість вести прямий чат з компаніями стосовно продуктів, покупок та доставки товарів,Media Sapiens

Веб-версія Messenger зараз доступна лише англійською мовою, проте невдовзі має бути реалізована підтримка інших мов.

Скористатися Messenger.com можна, залогінившись  зі свого Facebook-аккаунту. Браузер на весь екран показує чати користувача. Месенджер став більш візуально привабливим, зазначає Thenextweb.

З його допомогою можна спілкуватися, ділитися фотографіями, здійснювати телефонні та відеодзвінки (для цього у верхньому правому кутку меню передбачені спеціальні кнопки). У верхньому лівому кутку розміщена кнопка налаштувань.

Поки що незрозумілі остаточні плани Facebook стосовно Messenger.com. Проте зрозуміло, пише Thenextweb, що соцмережа планує розвивати його окремо як повноцінну платформу для спілкування та соціальної комерції.
