Facebook уже начала работу над приложениями, предназначенными для очков виртуальной реальности. Об этом на конференции Code/Media заявил вице-президент компании Крис Кокс, пишет Газета.ru.

«Когда вы в них (в панорамных видео. — «Газета.Ru»), вы понимаете, что смотрите в будущее и оно будет потрясающим», — заявил Кокс. «Когда вы в Facebook, вы делитесь со всеми этими частичками впечатлений: фото, видео, мысли», — добавил Кокс. Он также указал, что создавать контент для очков виртуальной реальности смогут все пользователи.

Для Facebook данные разработки имеют большое значение, поскольку в прошлом году социальная сеть приобрела разработчика очков виртуальной реальности Oculus Rift. О точных сроках появления этих очков на рынке информации пока нет.
