Facebook запустив функцію, за допомогою якої у соцмережі відзначаються фейки у стрічці новин користувачів.

Зазначається, що такі записи видалятися не будуть, але отримають мітку Disputed ("виклик") із зазначенням сайтів, які не вважають правдивою викладену інформацію.

Зокрема, користувачі, які помітили недостовірний, на їхню думку, матеріал у стрічці новин соцмережі, клацають в одну з областей відповідного поста, відзначаючи, що інформація здається їм підозрілою.

Після цього новина перевіряється експертами спеціальних сайтів і компаній, що займаються перевірками фактів.

Якщо інформація викликає сумніви, то під час репосту під таким повідомленням у соцмережі відображатиметься значок червоного квадрата з трикутником і знаком оклику всередині.

При бажанні користувач зможе перейти за посиланням і прочитати, чому та чи інша історія не відповідає істині.
