Міжнародна правозахисна організація Amnesty International склала рейтинг найбільш безпечних месенджерів, головним критерієм якого є наявність безпечного шифрування листування.

Всього у рейтинг увійшли 11 компаній і 16 месенджерів, передає РБК.

Найбільш безпечними визнані Facebook Messenger і WhatsApp, у яких за замовчуванням включено end-to-end шифрування, що зберігають ключ безпеки тільки на пристрої користувачів.

Високі позиції зайняли також iMessage та FaceTime від Apple, Duo від Google, та месенджери Line і Viber. Ключі для розшифровки такого листування зберігаються виключно в співрозмовників.

На третьому місці розмістився месенджер Telegram, який розробив співзасновник соціальної мережі Вконтакте Павло Дуров.
