Бывшая ведущая Fox News Гретчен Карлсон подала в суд на директора телеканала Роджера Эйлса по обвинению в сексуальных домогательствах и неправомерном увольнении.

До окончания контракта в июне она работала на этот американский канал в течение 11 лет.

Роджер Эйлс отрицает обвинения и утверждает, что Карлсон подала иск, потому что ей не продлили контракт.

Карлсон сначала вела на канале утреннюю программу Fox&Friends, а в 2013 году начала делать собственное шоу.

В иске, доступ к которому получило издание Politico, говорится, что когда ведущая начала делать собственное шоу, господин Эйлс "снизил ей компенсацию и отменил помощь канала в продвижении" шоу.

"Я думаю, когда-то давно у нас должны были быть сексуальные отношения, и тогда бы и у тебя было все хорошо, и у меня", - якобы сказал ей Эйлс.

Карлсон, которая 1989 выиграла конкурс Мисс Америка, также утверждает, что босс сказал, что "спал с тремя бывшими Мисс Америка, но не с ней".

Медиакорпорация 21st Century Fox объявила о начале внутренней проверки этой жалобы.
