Бывший министр экологии и природных ресурсов Игорь Шевченко намерен баллотироваться в мэры Киева или одного из крупных городов.

Об этом он сказал журналистам, сообщают Українські новини

"Один из вариантов - это собрать политическую команду, которая бы пошла на местные выборы, а я лично - в мэры одного из городов... Может быть, Одесса, Киев или какой-то другой город", - сказал он.

В период с 2010 по 2012 год Шевченко возглавлял Меритократическую партию Украины.

Кроме того, он отметил, что рассматривает возможность вхождения в команду председателя Одесской областной государственной администрации Михаила Саакашвили.

"Еще один вариант - пойти в команду к Саакашвили в Одессу, и помогать ему делать реформы, чтобы подавать пример для всей страны", - заявил Шевченко.

Отвечая на вопрос журналистов о том, кого бы он хотел видеть на должности министра экологии, Шевченко озвучил имя заместителя министра экологии и природных ресурсов - руководителя аппарата Светланы Коломиец.

Как сообщало агентство, в четверг Рада уволила Шевченко с занимаемой должности министра экологии и природных ресурсов.
