Гендиректор ОАО «Украочта» Игорь Смелянский признался, что является владельцем двух паспортов – украинского и американского. Как передает PRпортал, об этом на своей странице в социальной сети Facebook сообщила журналист Национальной общественной радиокомпании Светлана Мялик.

«У меня два паспорта, и я плачу в Украине 40 процентов налогов и в Соединенных Штатах 30 процентов. Честно декларирую, налоги плачу. Основные средства - это на детей. Потому что я и жена работаем. Вы ведь каждый день видите своего ребенка, а я нет. Это сколько стоит?», - привела Мялик цитату из интервью Смелянского. Стоит отметить, что в соответствии со статьей 4 Основного закона, в Украине действует единое гражданство. Вместе с тем, добровольное приобретение гражданином Украины гражданства другого государства считается основанием для утраты им гражданства Украины.

Напомним, что в Черновицкой области уволили чиновника за двойное гражданство. Мужчина использовал румынский паспорт при пересечении государственной границы Украины.
