Президент Украины Петр Порошенко уверяет, что никогда не обещал продать 5 канал.

Об этом Порошенко заявил в интервью изданию Deutsche Welle, передает Цензор.НЕТ.

На вопрос журналиста, "но вы ведь обещали отличаться от олигархов, у которых есть свои СМИ", Порошенко ответил, что он и так отличается: "Я отличаюсь. Если вы посмотрите 5 канал, то он больше всех критикует власти и является одним из наиболее свободных. Там журналисты с репутацией", - отметил Порошенко.

На вопрос журналиста "зачем вам канал? У кого еще из европейский президентов есть свой телеканал...", глава украинского государства заявил, что он является гарантом свободы прессы.

"Я гарант свободы прессы, и стандарты работы журналистов на 5 канале не вызывают критики. Отношения между мной и журналистами абсолютно прозрачные", - подчеркнул Порошенко.

Он также отметил, что является единственным украинским президентом, который передал свои активы в управление независимому трастовому фонду, а это очень даже "по-европейски".
