Девяносто депутатов Госдумы и лидеры оппозиции из регионов оспорили в Конституционном суде реформу местного самоуправления которая, по их мнению, привела к отмене выборов мэров крупных городов, пишет Радио Свобода.
 

В обращении в суд, оспариваются принятые в 2014 и 2015 годах нормы законов "Об общих принципах организации местного самоуправления в РФ" и "Об отдельных вопросах формирования органов местного самоуправления муниципальных образований Иркутской области". На основании этих законов прямые выборы мэра Иркутска были заменены на его избрание городской думой из числа депутатов.

По мнению депутатов, реформа в нарушение Конституции и международных норм лишила местные органы власти возможности самостоятельно выбирать способ формирования органов местного самоуправления, передав это право законодательным собраниям регионов.

Подписи под обращением поставили большинство членов фракции КПРФ в Госдуме, а также некоторые депутаты из фракции "Справедливая Россия". Представлять их интересы в суде будет член фракции "Единая Россия" от ОНФ Антон Романов.

Ранее в Конституционный суд уже поступило несколько жалоб на отмену прямых выборов глав городских администраций, в частности из Омска, Самары и Челябинска. В ходе реформы местного самоуправления в 2014–2015 годах были отменены выборы мэров в нескольких десятках российских регионов.
