В случае выхода сборной Украины по футболу на ЧМ-2018 в России глава Национальной общественной телекомпании Украины Зураб Аласания намерен отказаться от трансляции ее матчей на турнире.

В интервью Телекритике глава НОТУ отметил, что в вопросе трансляции чемпионата мира-2018 по футболу в России он будет ориентироваться на страну.  

"Если сборная туда пройдет и страна решит, что может ехать в РФ и участвовать там, я, как глава канала, даже рискуя отставкой, скажу: "Мы этого показывать не будем", - заявил Аласания.

По словам медиа-менеджера, он интересовался этим вопросом у крупных футбольных руководителей: те "кривятся" и говорят: "Дай бог, Украина не попадет".

Также Аласания подтвердил желание запустить сразу еще один канал, который был бы спортивным.

Ранее президент Федерации футбола Украины Андрей Павелко заявил о том, что в руководстве национальной сборной Украины хотят, чтобы та поехала на чемпионат мира 2018 года, но не хотят, чтобы турнир проходил в России. Он отметил, что сперва желто-синим необходимо завоевать право на участие в финальной части ЧМ-2018, а уже затем решать, ехать или нет.
