Телеканал CNN будет выпускать собственное новостное шоу на платформе Snapchat Discover. Как говорится в пресс-релизе компании, первый выпуск программы The Update выйдет в эфир уже сегодня в 6 вечера по восточному времени.

Корреспонденты и ведущие телеканала будут рассказывать в нем о пяти главных событиях дня. Кроме того, пользователям будут приходить обновления по всем срочным новостям в течение дня.

CNN был одним из первых медиа, кто стал предоставлять свой контент для пользователей Snapchat. На запуск ежедневных выпусков новостей руководство канала подтолкнул успех конкурента — ранее аналогичное шоу запустил NBC и уже за первый месяц собрал 29 млн просмотров.
