З 1 січня при МВС Чехії буде створений антитерористичний центр, пише Media Sapiens.

У Празі відбувся Stratcom Summit – міжнародна конференція щодо проблем стратегічної комунікації й безпеки. Під час саміту міністр внутрішніх справ Чехії Мілан Хованец (Milan Chovanec) розповів про те, що рівень злочинів у кібернетичному просторі Чехії щороку зростає на 14%.

«Через інтернет сайти в Чехії сьогодні поширюється найбільше дезінформації. Щоб навчитись чинити цьому опір, знаходити вчасно джерела дезінформації, відкривати їх, у Чеській Республіці створять спеціальний центр», - цитує міністра «Радіо Свобода». Наразі в центрі будуть задіяні приблизно 20 працівників. Головною метою центру буде виявляти гібридні загрози та пропаганду в кіберпросторі, повідомляє Reuters.

«Ми зобов’язані дати нашим співгромадянам можливість самим шукати правду», - зазначив пан Хованец.

Десятки сайтів в Чехії - де проживає близько 30 000 росіян згідно з даними перепису населення 2011 року - просувають позицію Москви по відношенню до Заходу. За словами міністра, опитування громадської думки показало, що чверть респондентів вважають, що вони читають на «альтернативні» новинні веб-сайти.
