Президент Петро Порошенко у четвер, 19 квітня, під час наради дав вказівку запустити систему протидії антиукраїнському мовленню на Донбасі.

Обладнання нової системи, яке розмістили вздовж лінії розмежування, дозволить блокувати мовлення понад 40 російських і сепаратистських телеканалів. Замість них запустять українське телебачення.

Після запуску під час відеозв'язку із районом АТО Порошенко повідомив, що має намір особисто перевірити роботу нової системи під час поїздки на Донбас найближчим часом.

Президенту доповіли, що нове обладнання дозволить захистити від впливу пропагандистських телеканалів жителів близько 150 населених пунктів в зоні АТО.

Порошенко заявив, що донесення сигналу українських ЗМІ на Сході є «щепленням проти російської пропаганди».

«В цьому ключі допомога наших іноземних партнерів, які надали Україні передавачі, не менш важлива, ніж передача нам летальної зброї. Адже це також метод захисту нашої країни від гібридної війни», - підкреслив президент.
