Відстежуючи кількість кліків за посиланнями, дослідники заявили, що найбільше контенту з цих груп споживає Туреччина. За нею слідують США, Саудівська Аравія, Ірак і Велика Британія.
"Онлайн-радикалізація створює "реальну і безпосередню небезпеку", - йдеться в доповіді.
Екстремістські мережі через соціальні медіа вербують новобранців, ведуть комунікацію та координують терористичні акти, ідеться у звіті.
За повідомленнями, групи поширюють фотографії, відео та повідомлення серед основної аудиторії за допомогою Telegram, але також через більш традиційні соціальні медіа, такі як Twitter, Facebook і YouTube.
