17 січня представник "Опозиційною платформи - За життя" Юрій Бойко подав документи до ЦВК для реєстрації кандидатом в президенти як самовисуванець.
 
 

Про це повідомляє "112".

"Я зареєструвався як кандидат в президенти України", - повідомив Бойко.

Він також сказав, що з'їзду не було, тому що політична партія "Опозиційна платформа - За життя" ще не зареєстрована.

 "Це громадський рух, але він підтримає мене, так само як підтримує більше 20 громадських організацій", - сказав він. 

За словами Бойка, "ніякого розколу всередині команди немає". 

"Те, що найближчим часом буде форум "Опозиційної платформи - За життя ", який також підтримає мене як кандидата - це так. Ніякого розколу немає, ніяких проблем між нашими політичними силами і всередині команди немає", - додав Бойко.

Станом на 17 січня 2019 року комісія зареєструвала 8 кандидатів на пост президента України:

Ігор Шевченко (самовисуванець), Сергій Каплін (від Соціал-демократичної партії), Валентин Наливайченко (від партії "Громадсько-політичний рух Валентина Наливайченка "Справедливість"), Віталій Скоцик (самовисуванець), Андрій Садовий (від партії "Об’єднання "Самопоміч"), Віталій Купрій (самовисуванець), Євген Мураєв (член політичної партії "Наші"),  Анатолій Гриценко (член політичної партії "Громадянська позиція").
