ДП МА «Бориспіль» став першим українським аеропортом, який взяв участь у благодійній акції Ice Bucket Challenge. 9 вересня 2014 року з метою зібрати фінансову допомогу для української армії співробітники підприємства облилися холодною водою на пероні біля найбільшого терміналу країни.

Головний аеропорт України прийняв виклик від інтернет-проекту Aviation life та передав естафету аеропортам «Харків», «Львів», а також авіакомпанії WindRose, які повинні дати свою відповідь протягом одного тижня. Метою соціальної кампанії є збір коштів для допомоги учасникам АТО.

На сьогоднішній день 38 працівників аеропорту «Бориспіль» були покликані для участі в бойових діях на сході України. Колектив підприємства не залишається осторонь від подій, що відбуваються у нашої крайні, та зробив свій внесок в підтримку української армії. Так, в аеропорту діє Фонд допомоги учасникам АТО, який надає фінансову і матеріальну допомогу мобілізованим співробітникам та їх сім’ям
