Глава Администрации президента Борис Ложкин анонсировал выход своей книги "Четвертая республика". Об этом он сообщил у себя в Facebook.

По словам Ложкина, он предложил написать книгу в соавторстве с журналистом, в прошлом главным редактором украинского Forbes, Владимиром Федориным.

"Я назвал книгу "Четвертая республика". Мы посчитали, что первой республикой была Украинская Народная, просуществовавшая с 1917-го по 1919-й. Второй - Украинская ССР. Украина 1991-2013 годов - это Третья республика. В 2014-м, после Революции достоинства, началась новая эпоха - Четвертой республики, задача которой - построение современного демократического государства и мощной экономики", - отметил Ложкин. 

"Главная задача книги - ответить на вопрос, вынесенный в ее подзаголовок: почему Европе нужна Украина, а Украине - Европа?... Она - о том, что с Украиной можно и нужно иметь дело. Наша страна не должна превратиться в failed state. Наоборот, в ней - solution, решение проблем для Европы, а не их источник. Украине нужна Европа - как союзник и источник ценностей. Европе нужна Украина - как напоминание о смысле самого европейского проекта и о том, что история не окончена", - убежден Ложкин.

Он добавил, что не видит себя в публичной политике и "не считает необходимым ретушировать свой образ для предстоящих политических битв". Книга выйдет на украинском и русском языках.
