Компанія Facebook заявила, що близько 126 мільйонів американських користувачів могли бачити контент, опублікований російськими оперативниками в соцмережі за останні два роки.

Про це повідомляє Європейська правда із посиланням на  Reuters.

Більшість постів стосувалися гострих політичних і соціальних тем.

Компанія Facebook нарахувала 80 тисяч постів подібного змісту, опублікованих як до, так і після виборів.

Згідно з останніми даними Facebook, політреклама, яка пов'язана з РФ, можливо, охопила половину населення США, яке може голосувати, та значно перевищує попередні дані компанії.

Такі дані з'явилися перед слуханнями в Сенаті США, які мають пройти 1 листопада, та під час яких також будуть свідчити представники Twitter і Google.

За даними Reuters, компанія Twitter нарахувала 2 772 облікових записи, які пов'язані з російськими оперативниками.

В Google заявили, що виявили витрати на суму близько 4700 доларів США на рекламу, пов'язану з Росією, під час виборчого періоду у 2016 році.

Нагадаємо, керівників Facebook, Alphabet Inc’s Google та Twitter запросили у Конгрес США для надання свідчень в рамках розслідування втручання Росії в американські вибори 2016 року.
