Депутатам местных Советов Белоруссии запрещено получать и использовать «карту поляка» — соответствующая поправка принята в в закон «О статусе депутата местного Совета депутатов», сообщает Национальный правовой интернет-портал республики,пишет ИА REGNUM

«Депутат Совета не вправе получать от иностранных государств документы, предоставляющие права на льготы и преимущества в связи с политическими, религиозными взглядами или национальной принадлежностью, а равно пользоваться такими льготами и преимуществами, если иное не вытекает из международных договоров Республики Беларусь.

Депутат Совета, имеющий документы, указанные в части четвертой настоящей статьи, обязан передать их на время осуществления своих полномочий в соответствующий местный исполнительный и распорядительный орган», — сказано в ст. 5 закона.

До этого запрет на использование «карты поляка» был введён для членов Нацсобрания Белоруссии, «силовиков», имеющих доступы к госсекретам госслужащих и нек. др. Польский закон «О карте поляка» был принят 7 сентября 2007 года и вступил в силу с 31 марта 2008 года.

«Карта поляка» предоставляет представителям польской диаспоры льготы при получении польской визы, при проезде, трудоустройстве и обучении. Идеи ввести в действие аналогичный закон в Белоруссии и выпустить «карту белоруса» не были реализованы.
