Байден перемагає на виборах президента США, набравши необхідні 270 голосів виборників. Вирішальною стала перемога у Пенсильванії. Як інформує PRпортал, про це повідомляє видання CNN.

Демократ Джо Байден перемагає у штаті Пенсильванія, де він народився. Зараз у нього 273 голоси виборників. Для перемоги кандидатові потрібно не менше 270 голосів виборників.

До слова, видання The New York Times також опублікувало дані про перемогу Байдена.

Увечері Байден пообіцяв виступити із промовою про об’єднання країни.

“Ніколи не забувайте: підсумки – це не просто цифри. Це голоси виборців, чоловіків та жінок, які реалізують основне право – бути почутими”, – сказав Байден.

 

Колишній віцепрезидент США Джо Байден прокоментував свою перемогу на президентських виборах у Сполучених Штатах. Відповідний пост він опублікував у соціальних мережах Facebook і Twitter.

“Америко, для мене честь, що ви обрали мене очолити нашу велику країну. Робота, яка на нас чекає, буде важкою, але я обіцяю вам: я буду президентом усіх американців – незалежно від того, проголосували ви за мене чи ні. Я збережу ту довіру, яку ви поклали на мене”, – наголосив Байден.
