Партія "Батьківщина" прийняла рішення не висувати своїх представників на вибори в мажоритарному виборчому окрузі №205, щоб дати змогу перемогти кандидату від "Блоку Петра Порошенка" - Сергію Березенку. Про це йде мова у відкритому зверненні партії, розповсюдженому прес-службою.

"Ми неодноразово наголошували на необхідності формування в парламенті більшості депутатів, які твердо стоятимуть на демократичних, проєвропейських позиціях, бо тільки так країна зможе здійснити докорінні зміни, що принесуть нашим співвітчизникам мир і достаток.

Увійшовши до парламентської коаліції, ми відповідально заявили про готовність підтримувати всі рішення, які відповідають державним інтересам, не ставити власні амбіції вище національних, оскільки «Батьківщина» є державницькою політичною силою.

У нас є чітке розуміння того, що під час військової агресії з боку іноземної держави Україні потрібна єдність політичних команд, а не виборча конкуренція.

Саме з цих причин партія прийняла рішення підтримати єдиного кандидата від коаліційних сил на позачергових виборах у парламент. Зокрема, «Батьківщина» не стане висувати своїх представників на 205-му мажоритарному виборчому окрузі, щоб дати змогу перемогти кандидату від Блоку Петра Порошенка – Сергію Івановичу Березенку.", - пояснює прес-служба.

В партії вважають, що це дозолить не тільки посилити депутатську більшість, а й завадить реваншу кланів та антиукраїнських сил.

"Батьківщина" закликала партнерів по коаліції, також, підтримати їх ініціативу.
