Игроки университетской команды по хоккею на траве из британского города Ноттингем разделись ради съемок видео, направленного на борьбу с гомофобией в спорте. 

Команда в составе 17 человек полностью обнажилась и провела показательную тренировку на территории кампуса,пишет Lenta.ru

«Гомофобия и страх процветают в спорте, но настало время для перемен. Для нас спорт является огромной частью нашей университетской жизни, и он должен быть доступен для всех», — заявил 22-летний Пирс Деннинг, один из участников акции.

Организаторы флэшмоба привели статистику, согласно которой семь из десяти человек были свидетелями случаев проявления гомофобии на трибунах во время футбольных матчей в Англии.

Вдохновителями акции стали члены движения Voice Your Rights Project, пропагандирующего толерантность и равноправие в обществе.
