Интернет-магазин Amazon планирует занять собственную нишу в фэшн-индустрии.

Об этом решении заявил вице-президент компании Джефф Юрчисин на мероприятии WWD Apparel & Retail CEO Summit 2015, сообщает Daily Mail. По его словам, запуск личного бренда будет способствовать укреплению компании на рынке моды, к которому они шли годами.

«Мы знаем, что наши клиенты ценят бренды и от их продажи мы получаем львиную долю прибыли. Но когда какой-то бренд прекращает с нами сотрудничество, мы получаем немалые убытки, и чтобы компенсировать потери, мы планируем запустить собственную линию одежды», - рассказывает он.

Это не первая попытка Amazon выпустить собственную продукцию. Ранее они представили смартфон, планшет и электронную книгу.
