Черкаська міська організації Партії регіонів не висуватиме свого кандидата на посаду міського голови Черкас. Про це кореспонденту vikka.ua повідомив голова організації Ігор Мельников.

– Ми не будемо висувати кандидата в міські голови Черкас, тому що смішити людей не хочемо. Добре було б висунути якусь потужну особистість, але її немає. Я не бачу кандидатуру, заради якої б вдалося об'єднати партію. Бути смішним? Поставити абикого? Цього не буде. Все треба робити якісно, – прокоментував Мельников.

Також він згадав, як був членом Збірної України зі дзюдо.

– Коли ти йдеш на якусь схватку, маєш вірити у перемогу. Якщо ти йдеш аби для статистики – це неправильно... – порівняв вибори і змагання Ігор Петрович.
