Македонская православная церковь запретила своим священнослужителям пользоваться социальной сетью Facebook под угрозой санкций, сообщает Lenta.ru.

Официально причины, по которым было принято такое решение, не уточняются. Также в церкви не рассказали, какие именно санкции предлагается применять в священникам за нарушение запрета на использование фейсбука.

По данным AFP, в церкви опасаются высказываний священнослужителей в социальных сетях на общественно-политическую тематику и выражения их собственных взглядов на те или иные события.

Многие религиозные лидеры во всем мире используют социальные сети для общения с прихожанами. В частности, аккаунт в фейсбуке есть у патриарха Всея Руси Кирилла. Сам патриарх неоднократно высказывался за активное освоение социальных сетей священнослужителями.
