Президиум Верховной Рады АРК заявлет о намерении объявить референдум по Республике Крым.

Об этом сообщила пресс-секретарь Председателя Верховной Рады АРК Оксана Корнийчук, передает Крымское информагентство.

"Украина скатывается к полнейшему хаосу, анархии и экономической катастрофе. В этих условиях Верховная Рада АРК как высший представительный орган власти в АРК, опираясь на волеизъявление избравших его крымчан, принимает на себя всю ответственность за судьбу Крыма", - сказано в заявлении.

"Следуя основополагающим канонам демократии, Президиум крымского парламента считает единственным возможным путем выхода из сложившейся ситуации применение принципов прямого народовластия. Убеждены, что только проведение общекрымского референдума по вопросу усовершенствования статуса автономии и расширения ее полномочий позволит крымчанам самим без внешнего давления и диктата определить будущее автономии", – говорится в обращении.

Также Президиум обратился к депутатам Верховной Рады АРК независимо от национальности и политической принадлежности с призывом проявить готовность пожертвовать личными амбициями ради принятия судьбоносных для всех жителей полуострова решений.

"Крымчане, в результате неконституционного захвата власти в Украине радикальными националистами при поддержке вооруженных бандформирований мир и спокойствие в Крыму поставлено под угрозу", - сказано в заявлении.
