Децентралізована соціальна мережа BlueSky отримала понад 700 тисяч нових користувачів менш ніж за тиждень після виборів. Більшість із них — саме зі США. Загальна кількість користувачів платформи вже становить 14,5 млн, порівняно з 10 млн у вересні.

Соцмережа від Meta Threads, яка нагадує X, за три дні після виборів отримала понад мільйон нових користувачів. Загалом на платформі зареєструвалося вже понад 275 млн людей, що майже вдвічі більше, ніж було у квітні.

Як пише видання, багато користувачів, які приходять на нові платформи, шукають альтернативу мережі X. Вони пояснюють, що їх турбує участь її власника Ілона Маска у виборах або вони просто не зацікавлені в підтримці його мережі.
