Meta оголосила про зміну основного способу оцінки контенту на платформі Facebook. Відтепер ключовим показником стане кількість «переглядів», що приведе метрики у відповідність із Instagram.  

 «Перегляди» враховуватимуться не лише для відео, але й для фото, текстових постів та іншого контенту. Це означає, що кожен раз, коли користувач побачить певний матеріал на своєму екрані, це зараховуватиметься як перегляд. Якщо той самий користувач побачить пост кілька разів, кожне відображення також буде враховано.  

 За словами керівника Instagram Адама Моссері, єдина метрика спрощує аналіз ефективності для творців контенту. Це має допомогти авторам краще розуміти, наскільки успішно їхній контент залучає аудиторію. Подібний підхід Meta вже застосувала на платформі Threads, додавши лічильник переглядів для постів із метою забезпечення більшої прозорості.  

 Однак для звичайних користувачів метрика «перегляди» може не бути настільки інформативною. Наприклад, знати, скільки разів ваш пост з’явився на екранах, — це одне, але зрозуміти, чому це сталося, — зовсім інше.  

 Вибір «переглядів» як основного показника також вказує на стратегічний напрямок Meta: мотивувати користувачів більше взаємодіяти із платформою. Подібний підхід вже використовував Ілон Маск на платформі X (колишній Twitter), де перегляди стали ключовою метрикою.
