Banda Agency, Kyiv Type Foundry та 58 дизайнерів із усього світу створили шрифт Unity Sans для відбудови економіки України та створення нових бізнесів.
«Це шрифт для українських бізнесів, які були вимушені закритися, але знайшли в собі сили відкритися знову, а також для тих, кому не вистачало сучасної варіативної безкоштовної кирилиці», — зазначили дизайнери.
За основу взяли забутий гротеск німецького походження Berthold Grotesk. Шрифт був реконструйований, позбавлений непотрібних залишків та доповнений кирилицею. На ідею варіативності та розмаїття альтернативних форм дизайнерів надихнули альбоми українського шрифтового дизайнера та художника Олега Снарського.
Unity Sans є безкоштовним і його можна завантажити на сайті. Він має 40 можливих наборів та 293 альтернативні літери, якими можна гратися залежно від завдання та характеру.
